In 2012 Scotshouse Quarries ltd. employed a full time Quality Manager and invested heavily on an on-site fully equipped Testing Laboratory. As a result of this investment our High PSV Chippings complied with and received CE marking for the European standard I.S EN 13043, meaning our chippings could be sold to local authorities and Road making contractors for surface treatments of roads.

Scotshouse Quarries extended its range of certified products in 2017 with NSAI accreditation and awarding of a CE mark for its SR21 Annex E products (unbound granular fill for use under concrete floors and footpaths) for both Scotshouse Quarries & Monaghan Quarries.

Late 2017 Scotshouse Quarries Ltd saw the commissioning of our new state of the art computerised Asphalt plant and in 2018 receiving CE marking accreditation from the National Standards Authority of Ireland (NSAI) for its production of its wide range of bituminous materials.

The continued investment made by Scotshouse Quarries in our production process ensures our products continually meet the highest standards and we are the supplier of choice for many Local Authorities, construction companies and private individuals.
